CTA meeting at the ASRM in Maui
Updated Program
The CTA meeting scheduled to take place in Maui, entitled The Next Level in Reconstructive Transplantation, will be co-chaired by Dr. W.P. Andrew Lee, and Dr. Maria Siemionow. The keynote address is being delivered by the legendary Dr. Thomas E. Starzl.
We proudly announce and cordially invite you to a joint ASRT/ASRM scientific afternoon session to be held on January 13th at the Grand Wailea Resort Hotel & Spa in Maui, HI. The session is embedded in the 2009 Annual Meeting of the ASRM.
The program is entitled “The Next Level in Reconstructive Transplantation” and features expert opinions and free papers on critical aspects and innovations in reconstructive transplantation. For the first time, Christoph Hoehnke, M.D. from Munich will give a presentation the world's first arm transplantation. In a panel featuring experts in limb transplantation, latest generation prosthetics and tissue regeneration, the advantages and limitations of the three different approaches to limb replacement will be discussed.
As a key-note speaker, Thomas E. Starzl, M.D. will present the realization and latest achievements in immunosuppression minimization and tolerance induction, an achievement potentially allowing wide range application of reconstructive transplantation.
Please find the full program draft of the joint ASRT/ASRT session below. To register for this event, please go to conferences.a-s-r-t.com and follow the instructions for registration. For members of the ASRT we offer a special registration fee of only $50 ($200 for non-members).
